The Cobthorn Trust has been engaging in livestock genetic conservation for 30 years, working with breeds of sheep, cattle, pigs and poultry. Cobthorn hosts the National Poultry Collection, which is the only national genetic resource of native breeds of fowl. In order to continue its essential work and develop the facilities at Cobthorn, we need donations, as the future of the Trust is in jeopardy. These donations will serve to pay for animal feed, but also contribute towards the upkeep of the buildings and development of new breeding groups.
