Story
In celebration of the Air Cadets' 75th anniversary, two teams of mixed staff and cadets will attempt to swim the English Channel in July this year. The enormous cost of this expedition is being funded by the RAFA, the ACO and other sponsors. To put back into the system, helping to support 1063 Sqn and fund projects such as the new National Adventure Training Centre in Wales, we are seeking sponsorship for this momentous event. More people have stood on the top of Everest than have swum the channel, the challenge is immense.
Getting really close to half way and everyone's getting excited about the swim

8 years agoMany many thanks to everyone who has supported Jack on his venture adventure to France and for supporting the Sqn and the Corps. He made it and was the one to land on French soil (rocks). Unfortunately the weather prevented the 2nd attempt to start so it's all on again for week 1 in August
