So much love and affection shown for Donny at the service and reception today. After the tears came smiles at happier memories, shared stories and yes ... even some laughter at some of his hilarious antics. Sleep well old friend.

Donny's funeral is Tuesday 12th July. The hearse will be passing by the Hollow Recreation Ground around 11am and then going on to the Downs Crematorium for the service starting at Noon. Football shirts welcome - preferably Celtic, Brighton or DaSH - but all teams ok, bar Rangers! :) There will then be a short reception at the Hampden Arms PH, Heighton Road, South Heighton from approximately 1.30pm. Family flowers only, any donations in lieu of flowers to Caring Lady Funeral Directors, Peacehaven, which is in aid of DaSH JFC.

Vicky would like us to let you know how grateful and overwhelmed she and the children have been by the community support for their family at such a difficult time. With the funeral approaching, I know your continued offers of help and fund-raising events will reduce the financial stresses for them after such a shock and subsequent terrible grief.
