Story
My 10 year old son George has profound learning disabilities. When we go out and about there are very few places where he is able to really engage with activities on offer. Nidd House CRC provide respite care for young people aged 5-19, including George. They have a large outdoor area with scope for developing a purpose built interactive multi-sensory garden. This would enhance the children's stay and it could also be made available to other local children and adults who need it.

I own Yorkshire Garden Designs. Projects have included the garden at Southlands Nursing Home and a Gold Award winning show garden at Harrogate Autumn Flower Show 2015. The business originally started because I needed to work flexibly from home due to my son George's needs.
