Stew is currently residing in the Brain Injury Unit at Leicester General Hospital, making steady progress. He is able to communicate effectively, albeit sometimes confused and is re-learning physical skills (eg walking). He has made excellent steps over the last nine weeks but long term rehabilitation is the key to full recovery. A website will shortly go live which will provide further updates and information regarding fundraising events.

Visited Stew tonight in the Leicester Royal Infirmary after his recent transfer from Marseille. An absolute pleasure to see him back in the UK. No real change to his condition but a more personalised environment, surrounded by family. This can only be of benefit in the short, medium and long term. JB

Stew is back in the UK after transfer by Air Ambulance from Marseille on Thursday. He is currently residing in the High Dependency Unit at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Wonderful news for everyone and particularly, the man in question. Will continue with updates and as always,love and respect to all who have helped and continue to help assist this absolute legend. JB
