Thank you to everyone for their support. It was a hard challenge and I'm greatful for everyones support and donations online and offline.

Yesterday was the big day and we did it! We hit 10km in 1 hour, 3 minutes, which was incredible. Furthermore, I'd like to thank everyone who has made a donation for this cause. Thanks also go out to my fellow Councillors, Copnor residents for cheering me on and donating, our wonderful MP who came and saw us off yesterday along with Cllr. Fleming and Cllr. Lyon. Finally, to Crixus who is just the best dog and pal anyone could run a challenge with. :-) We're going to have our Christmas Tree :-) Robert

We've had a rest day of sorts today... no running, but instead, we've been doing pushups, sit-ups and core work to prevent any back injury. Post workout, having a little snooze now and he's curled up next to me. Tomorrow we're kicking it out for the 4km mark! Watch us go!

Well we've just completed our third training session in the glorious sunshine. Cirxus aced it while I, (not a natural runner) puffed my way to over the 3km mark today. We're on track for the 10km and so far I'm injury free, but my thighs are burning... on the plus, I can feel my muscles coming back into use and getting stronger with each training session. It's really important to me to achieve this challenge. I'm determined to raise the funds needed for Copnor and our aspirations for community improvements! Please donate generously
