Rugby is a great sport for girls, it empowers us, makes us recognise our strength, improves our confidence and fitness, gives us friends for life and is a lot of fun. I am a qualified Level 2 coach and am going to Malawi with three others from Loughborough to coach rugby to young people, in support of the Love Support Unite charity. I have also been collecting kit, balls and equipment to take with us and leave there. Participation in sport does so much for young people, the team skills, work ethic, resilience and camaraderie transfer into the rest of their lives inspiring ambition in education and at work and making friends around the world. I want to share the great things rugby has done for me.
