Story
1-2-1 Counselling Services provides free, short-term crisis counselling for GP referred clients who can not afford private counselling and are unable to wait for an NHS referral in the York area.
The room currently used for counselling is no longer available as the building has been sold.
1-2-1 have relied on contributions to keep the service running but now must pay rent. I would like to raise enough funds to ensure that the service continues.

10 years agoRunning downhill is easier than running uphill. As I'm running the Cheltenham Half Marathon to raise money for 1-2-1 I hope Cheltenham is down.

I am lucky enough to be married to the most dedicated, passionate woman that I have ever met. After having dealt with her own personal issues she has used her experiences to train as a counsellor with the sole aim of helping others. The least I can do is run 13 miles to help!
