Thank you so much for your personal & wonderful donation during my month long campaign to raise money for the 2015/16 UK flood victims. It's been an interesting project and while we didn't reach the £10,000 target set online, we did achieve a grand total of over £12,000, thanks to the generosity of people who heard about the campaign locally, did not have internet access and sent me a cheque instead. In a world where there seems to be an increasing feeling of 'charity fatigue' I've been touched by your kind and supportive messages, your generosity, and your reaction to the terrible plight of our fellow countrymen. The news may have fallen from the media's interest, but the suffering continues and your money will go to The Addington Fund, who will ensure it reaches those who need help the most - and fast.
