Story
A child diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, in Yangon ( Myanmar) will only have access to limited service and support. The child's family or friends will cover most of costs for life saving medicines (insulin) and essential daily blood testing. In the majority of cases this is prohibitively expensive. Additionally the parents will need support and education to help guide them through the daunting challenge of bringing up a diabetic child, to maximize the child's chance of survival.

9 years agoFantastic news we have now made GBP 1020 for the Myanmar project, from the "Ecrins Cycle Challenge" for Action For Diabetics, A4D, That is going to cover 1 years of daily blood glucose testing for 7 kids, amazing, and that is really life saving .. THANKS SO MUCH

9 years agoThanks everybody, Jerry and most of the team made it, it 340 KM, 10,706 m climbed! and all in 21.5 hours, an absolute epic and tremendous achievement. Well done to the team on the bikes and all the support staff too. BIGBIG. Thanks also to the donors, you are super generous.
