Story
Back in March 2016 the NHS funding was withdrawn for the life changing SDR (selective dorsal rhizotomy)operation that Aash was referred for back in July 15.
Aash is just over 5 years old and is such a loving and happy young boy, with an infectious smile. He just loves being with around his friends, family and wants to be able to play football like any child and wishes he could walk and play sport without being in any pain. Aash lives in constant pain with medication round the clock, due to having spasms mainly at night. He uses a walker to get around, with a standing frame to stand up and has to wear Pedro boot, day and night splints & night time gaiters.
This operation will be life changing for Aash and will make Aash pain free for the rest of his life, more mobile, more independent now and in later life and give him the quality of life he needs.
Now that the government have cut the funding we now need to fund the cost of the SDR operation, which is £21,000.
We have now set up this crowd funding page for anyone who wishes to donate, support and fund raise in any which way you can.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks for taking the time to read Aash's journey.
