Weʼve raised £250 to Rebuild the engine of Aruna's taxi

Story
Aruna's only way of earning money to support his mother, sisters and their children is a very old taxi. The engine has finally gone beyond repairs and needs a rebuild. This will cost £450 and will last about 2 years. If we raise £800, he can have a new engine, which will last longer. If we can raise £2,000, he can have a younger vehicle and paint it in the taxi colours. This should provide him with work and secure the family's welfare for many years.

9 years agoA massive Thank you to the Tavy Tars shanty crew http://www.tavytars.co.uk/ They saw that we were £200 short of the target and contributed a cheque for this amount! Aruna can now pay his road tax in January and the last of the debt to the mechanic.
