Cygnet Law will be holding their first annual walk to help raise funds and awareness about local charity Redcar and Cleveland Mind.

The 5K beach walk will see staff, family, friends and four-legged companions join in the sponsored walk on 24th June 2016.

All money raised will be donated to Redcar and Cleveland Mind.

MIND are a National Charity providing advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

At Redcar & Cleveland Mind they help hundreds of people with mental health problems every year within our Local Community.

In the past 12 months they have seen referrals increase by 91.3%

Thousands of people in our area have lost their jobs through mass redundancy. In 2015, only 21% of the people we supported were employed.

Suicides are rising at an alarming rate - the North East has the highest rate of suicides in the UK.

Over 30% of people attending at Mind in Redcar and Cleveland were deemed to be at "high risk" of suicide or self harm.

This year MIND have a massive £90,000 shortfall in funding to find. They need your help.

Now here at Cygnet Law we may not be able to meet the shortfall but we can help and every penny does count in ensuring these services continue within our area.

We need to keep saving lives, and helping people in their recovery. We won't give up!
