Story
Emergency First Aid Ltd are taking on the huge task of raising money to put a Defibrillator in all the schools we provide training for. We will also be providing free training. This is everything we believe in and have been working towards.
Our staff, shareholders and family will be taking on the following challenges in 2016:
60 mile cycle through Suffolk
Gruelling Hike up Pen Y Fan in Wales
3mile OpenWater swim in Essex
Finishing with a Sprint Triathlon in Northampton.
Sadly 270 children die in the UK per year after suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest at school
If a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5 minutes of cardiac arrest, survival chances increase from 6% to 74% which is incredible.
A Full Defibrillator Package costs roughly £1000 so we have a massive challenge.
The first school to receive a free defibrillator is Thomas Willingale School in Debden. We have already trained all their staff and year 6. They are an amazing school who really believe in First Aid for all.
Please share and support this project, any donations or fund raising ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Deep breath, let's go!!
