Story
Following the Panorama programme recently on Chemo and Stem Cell Therapy for Multiple Sclerosis patients, my thoughts were immediately with an old friend, Dick Mullen, who has suffered with MS for the last 15 years. In his words, he considers himself 'lucky' in many ways as he is reasonably mobile with the use of walking aids and can function relatively well for a few hours every other morning after which his energy begins to wane, he becomes sluggish, confused and forgetful - resting helps.

Dick is not the only reason I am so passionate about this treatment. My sister-in-law suffered with MS from the age of 17 and I saw how debilitating this disease can be. I would love Dick to have the opportunity to literally change his life.
