In December 2015 our world was torn apart when the dreaded word cancer came across our mouths. Mum/Fiona/Nanny/friend was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, the bloating and tiredness wasn't just the change of life, it was cancer which turned our world upside down.
Just when we thought it couldn't get worse, it wasnt just her ovaries, it was also found on her spleen, kidney, liver and up by her shoulder...
Her CA125 number was 523. After visits every week to hospital for chemo treatment for 12 weeks with her being poked and prodded by needles. endless blood tests, scans, bruises and some days of feeling hopeless... She never gave up and always shines that smile that is imprinted on everyone's heart with who meets her! She had her scan again after the treatment were everything looked positive... It had worked!! CA125 number was an incredible 35!! next step was surgery which everything went amazing ...she's positive and determine to destroy it! She's still fighting the battle and will continue with all her might.

Dad/Pete/Gdad/friend has been the rock to his family but mostly to his wife. For someone who hates hospitals he has astonished everyone and been with Fiona through it all. He has given her reason to fight. His emotions have been all over the place but his love for her has shone through. Like a fairytale he has been her knight in shining armour. Attended every appointment with her from the beginning and will see it through till the end.

They deserve all the happiness in the world...once everything is all cleared, and they can live happily ever after, so we want to start it off with them having the holiday they dream of! No children, no stress... Just them 2. Especially after realising life is too short. We thank anyone and everyone who donates, it means the world to give them theirs 💕 It's times like this when you appreciate what you have and who you have.
