Hello All! Just an update now that the page has closed... and we have absolutely SMASHED our target of £1,000! Our grand total is £2,026.93!! Thank you all so so much for your generosity, it has been amazing to see a community come together and help when it's needed. It really is appreciated! I have just transferred the money to Pat and to say she is happy is an understatement, she is over the moon! Repairs haven't yet started on the house, but hopefully things will get moving now and she will be able to return home soon. She's a lovely lady and deserves every penny, you should all be proud of yourselves for putting a smile back on her face. Again, THANK YOU from myself and Pat xxx

I have just been to see Pat and her daughter. They were so so grateful to everyone that has helped them so far. She's a lovely lady, when I told her what we had raised and how many people she burst into tears and was overcome with gratitude. Makes all this so worthwhile. THANKYOU
