We are trying desperately to help raise money for two teenage boys, so they are able to have a funeral for their dad.
Gary had cancer, and battled the horrific illness for while, until he finally lost his fight on 15/6/16, he was only 53 years old. Due to his illness, Gary was on benefits which means he sadly never had any sort of savings, nothing was left for the funeral or left for his children. He raised the boys alone since they were very young, who are now 15 and 16. Gary's brother moved in to help care for him in his final months, and will move in permanently to bring the children up.
They found out today that they need to pay £1600 upfront before the funeral can even go ahead, then it will be another £1600 after. The government will only pay a little, which they aren't even able to get until the first half has been paid. They don't have this sort of money, they just about get by each day without this sort of debt.
Without the money they will have no choice but to have a 'paupers funeral' (as the funeral directors called it), where they won't even have a service to attend and say bye to their Dad properly.
This family have suffered enough, they are in no fit state to deal with this sort of stress. The youngest boy isn't coping very well, this is a worry he does not need at the moment.

So we thought we would try raise if for them! Any sort of donation will help dramatically, every little penny helps!
