Story
Grampound Village Hall has recently taken over the running of the public convenience in the recreation ground. We have smartened up the loo and installed baby changing facilities. In many countries in the developing world, lack of running water and hygienic toilets is a major problem. We have an opportunity to twin our toilet in Grampound with a facility in an African country. £240 would help to establish a school block of toilets in Sierra Leone. We will send the money raised to the charity Tearfund that runs Toilettwinning.org. They make all the arrangements and provide us with a certificate that we will display in Grampound toilets showing what we have done. Please donate a small sum towards this very worthwhile project. Thank you!

8 years agoMany thanks to all those who contributed to this fundraising. I am delighted that we have now reached, exceeded even, the target. I will now be passing the money on to the Toilet twinning organisation so that we can be officially twinned with a toilet facility in Sierra Leone. Best wishes Bob
