Story
The Green Centre, a grassroots environmental project, is run entirely by volunteers. We have a very diverse team and many of the team have long term health problems, mental health problems and learning disabilites. The money raised is to support the team, including travel expenses, refreshments, training, uniform, etc.

9 years agoThanks to those of you who have pledged so far. The Green Centre team are training hard and we have signed up several guest sorters. We hope to process half a million bottle tops in 12 hours!

I volunteer at the Green Centre. On Thursday August 20th, we are doing a sponsored milk bottle top sort from 7am to 7pm. Monies raised from recycling the tops will be donated to Lupus Brighton & Hove & Lupus UK. Your donations will support the volunteer team.
