Story
The handcuffing challenge this week is to raise funds for Charlie's Angels, a fundraising initiative to raise money for Charlotte Brodzinski.
Charlotte is the daughter of Emma Brodzinski, one of the staff members in RHUL's Drama Department. Charlotte is one of triplets and was born premature at 29 weeks.
A lack of oxygen to her brain after birth means that Charlotte has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and, as well as having limited movement in her arms and legs, Charlotte has difficulties with her vision, eating and talking.
It is therefore a bit of a challenge for Charlotte to do what her brothers and most other five year olds are doing: there is some brilliant equipment out there to help but it is a bit pricey!
For this event, members of The Student Workshop will be split into pairs and tied together for 48 hours, attempting to overcome all the challenges that come with it!
Please help us raise funds to help Charlotte access specialist treatment and equipment. You can donate via our team's collection boxes that they will have on them, or here online!
