    Story

Hunter Hall is an independent school, delivering outstanding education to our pupils. Being independent means we need to do a lot of external fundraising initiatives throughout the year to ensure resources such as IT and sports/music equipment are able to be sought.

Our parents group runs many events throughout the year to raise vital funds; however we also encourage philanthropic giving from 'Old Hunters' (past pupils), parents, local businesses, grandparents and the general public who have an affinity with our lovely little school.

We often receive donations, which is a great help towards capital projects. We’ve recently been able to buy staging for our school productions, have built a new library and created a newly (and much needed) surfaced car park and in 2016 we will start raising funds for a new science block.

By making a donation you can help us to raise funds for vital capital projects, which ensures the school keeps moving forward and can deliver the best education possible for our current and future pupils.

    The Winzor Award

In 2015 we also launched The Winzor Award; in memory of ex Head teacher Dr Tony Winzor who sadly passed away after a short illness. The award is aimed at giving talented children the opportunity to have an education at Hunter Hall, for whom it may not otherwise be possible.

We look for children who show a specific flair or aptitude in academic study, sport, music or drama and those who are eager to learn.

The funds will be built up through the generosity of supporters of the school and our ultimate aim is to build an endowment to enable us to fund these 100% awards in perpetuity.

Many schools, can boast of magnificent settings, small class sizes and innovative teaching alongside good results. However, not all can say that they are small enough to know every child as an individual; in essence we are small enough to care but big enough to achieve.
