Great Britain U21's have shortlisted me to go to the European Championships in Poland this summer. As this being my first international tournament and a dream of mine, I want to achieve this.

The next 5 months will consist of hard work & commitment to allow this opportunity to happen through consistent training on & off the field in order to prepare myself ready for this massive challenge that lies ahead. However the bigger picture requires ourselves individual to self-fund our way to the tournament.

Great Britain Deaf Football is a completely self-funded organisation relying on donations and fund raising activities. Our history goes back to 1924, being crowned World Champions 6 times, most recently in Melbourne in 2005. We currently operate five representative national teams; men's, women's, men's under 23's and a veteran’s team. As well as taking part in tournaments we organize training & participation days throughout the year to develop & encourage deaf football.

Great Britain under 21’s team has been set up since 2014 to create a new pathway to develop the GB Men team. The aim is to encourage young deaf footballer to develop and give them the opportunity represent their country.
