Our close friend Leanne (30 years old) was diagnosed in 2014 with a rare form cancer called Chrondosarcoma and is the only person in Northern Ireland with the form of cancer. Following multiple surgeries through her neck and head, Leanne is to be sent abroad for a period of up to 6 months to receive Proton Therapy, either in America or Switzerland- location and date still tbc.

During the last year Leanne has been through so much, not only receiving surgeries but now knowing that she will be seperated from her kids for a long period of time. No parent should ever be seperated from their kids for that long especially while receiving life altering treatment away from home.

Leanne has two beautiful young children Darragh and Jessica ages 10 & 4 years old and at this stage in life shouldn't have to be seperated from their mummy.

We are raising money aiming to help support Leanne and her kids whilst she is away, and also to send Darragh and Jessica out to visit their mum during her treatment - we know this would mean the world to Leanne and the kids.
