    Story

15 years ago a space was created where children and adults, socializing in a non judgmental environment, can 'put life back into life skills' and design, pin, cut, sew to their hearts' content: Little Hands Design.

Fifteen years later, Little Hands has blossomed into exactly that vision. With a number of classes running daily for all ages, holiday courses, birthday parties and workshops, Little Hands has provided thousands of people with life-skills, new friends and a new wardrobe.

However, Little Hands is a non profit Community Interest Organisation, meaning that all funds are directed into running the school and providing as many opportunities for those less fortunate. This has culminated into both bursaries for many students who cannot afford our £8/hr fees and also weekly classes held for refugees in Collaboration with the Helen Bamber Foundation.

These two schemes have had enormous success but ultimately we want to expand. Give more children the chance to experience a workshop filled with extensive fabrics collections and highly qualified teachers.

Give more women and men something to hold onto to overcome the traumas they have been through and to give them skills and hope for a future.

Give both, the children and the refugees, skills that they can use to progress, emotionally and financially. Give these women and children a sense of community and trust.

    Give them a chance!
