    Story

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.
I'm asking for you to help this incredibly kind and generous gentleman who has been struggling through no fault of his own, to finally have a motor home so he can have his beloved dogs back with him and enable him to take a break from his charity endeavours and to let his feet heal and body and mind recover.
Richard 46, former RMarine, originally from Norwich UK, is homeless after the dream life he had created in New Zealand came to an abrupt halt after sustaining life-changing injuries while volunteering for Urban Search and Rescue for the infamous team NZRT12 in the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes.
After being coerced into returning to the UK 5 years ago, for a 'break' he found himself too traumatised to return to NZ and as a result lost almost everything that he held dear and remains homeless. His beloved dogs were later flown over to be reunited with him; sadly one didn't survive the transition.

Richard suffers from PTSD, chronic pain, depression and anxiety at times and has a tiny room in a homeless hostel and unable to afford accommodation. To keep his body and mind active he pushes himself beyond belief with challenging tasks most of us wouldn't even contemplate, considering the demands, the pain and effort required.

He has completed the most arduous tasks imaginable and some of which can be viewed on his website
    www.richardsteven.com
and all unsupported. He currently sleeps rough to save his meagre funds for food and plasters for his blistered feet.

    Now enough is enough.
I met Richard last year and am blown away by his determination, resilience and drive to make his way and now I am asking for your support. He needs a place of his own and I want to buy him a place where he can have his beloved dogs back with him and still be able to travel around promoting his good causes for unicef- what better way than by living in a motorhome?
£10+ k will set him on his way. Thankyou so much Jen
