Our family live in Manta Ecuador. The city has been devastated by the recent Earthquake. My mum and sister have lost their homes.

My immediate and extended family are currently in an evacuation centre in a school - sleeping in the open air. We are incredibly thankful that they are safe as many people have lost family and friends.

The best way we can help them is by sending money to cover the cost of buy basic supplies such as food and bottled water.

We also want to help with the cost of securing safe accommodation (for my mum, sister and nephew age 13). As supplies are running low in the city buying essentials is very expensive and there are a lot of people trying to find new places to live.

We have been overwhelmed by the concern that people have shown in this difficult time and wanted to find a practical way to help our family directly.
