We need your help urgently!
The unusually heavy rainfall experienced this month in Sri Lanka has resulted in Floods and Landslides that has devastated parts of the country. Official figures according to the BBC put the death toll at 92 with hundreds more missing (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-36355980).
Figures estimate a further half a million people have been displaced due to the floods. Many more have lost their livelihoods and the potential spread of disease is expected affect the nation even as the flood water reduces. The aid work has commenced in Sri Lanka and they are in need urgent need of funds and supplies.
Siri Sports Club is a cricket team playing friendly cricket in parts of England and consists entirely of players of Sri Lankan origin based in the UK. This disaster is very close to our heart and we want to ensure the funds raised reaches the families most in need.
Please help us by donating what you can spare. All funds raised will go directly to the victims and we will endeavour to bring you news and updates of what your money does in Sri Lanka.
