Story
In the words of Daisy's parents, Gary & Leah 💛
'Our darling Daisy started to be really sick in January and her weight started to drop.
She also was not meeting physical milestones and certain things she had started doing such as rolling she stopped being able to do.
We spoke to health visitors, GPs and spent 5 days in Raigmore in February but it kept being put down to her having had a number of bugs causing her to fall behind.
We ended up back in Raigmore at the start of March and finally a head scan showed there were abnormalities in her brain.
After that we were transferred here to Glasgow sick kids where on the 14th of March Daisy was diagnosed with a brain tumour and growth on her spinal cord.
A week later we were told the heartbreaking news that she has an aggressive, fast growing tumour that is hard to treat.
Daisy has been so so brave, she's already had more blood tests than most have in a lifetime, major surgery to remove most of the tumour and more surgery to have a shunt fitted.
She will soon start chemotherapy.
We all have a long road ahead and we are just at the start of our journey.
We will do anything in our power to save our wee girl. Knowing that there are funds there if we ever need them to fund any treatment would mean so much to us.
Daisy is continuing to smile through everything'
Daisy progress will be updated as much as possible and with the family's consent.
We all feel helpless in this unimaginable situation, but seeing Daisy smile and the positivity of her brave family makes us want to give something back to them for being such incredible inspirational people.
Every little counts, please help us reach our target (possibly break it!)
💛
