Wandsworth Town Youth Football Club is an established non-profit community based football club providing Football for over 100 young kids from ages 6-16 years old, the club was founded in 2006 by Barry Jordan and is based in Wandsworth, South West London. All our youth teams train once a week and play matches on a Saturday morning.

We have three simple aims; to enjoy sport through football, to give young boys the chance to play football in a structured and safe environment and to also produce footballers of the future by nurturing the natural talent of youngsters from the Wandsworth area and beyond. Where there is ability we want to get the best out of it; where there is talent we want to harness it and where there is desire we want to reward it with opportunities.

Over the last few years we as a club have offered.

Opportunities for Coaches

Working with 6 young football coaches qualified at FA Level 1 and 2, providing them with valuable coaching experience and helping them to work towards higher qualifications

Opportunities for Players

Providing academy opportunities for over 400 young people throughout 7 grassroots clubs. Also, working with 5 football scholarship college programmes, enrolling over 30 players.

Mentoring & Help

Providing mentoring courses to tackle difficulties amongst young people such as social, health, and mental awareness through sport.

Where the money will be spent and how we would benefit from it,

- Mid-week training, venues now demand clubs to book in block bookings, weekend match day pitch hire, equipment - balls, cones and bibs, match day kits.

- This year is our ten year anniversary since our club chairmen started Wandsworth Town Youth FC and our main aim would be to raise an amount to contribute towards an event we plan on holding early August to celebrate the ten years we've been coaching , managing youth teams.
