Story
Laver Leisure are proposing a huge development within the grounds of a disused quarry in the Churnet Valley. Moneystone quarry is subject to a legal restoration order which is now over 18 months overdue. Instead of restoring the quarry to its natural legal state, Laver Leisure are proposing a huge leisure development, initially consisting of 250 log cabins, boating lake, restaurant, sporting activities etc, with 100,000 visitors a year. A 5 year plan extending to 600 cabins and 250,000 visitors.
