Wythall Animal Sanctuary is trying to raise much needed funds after a heartless thief broke into our animal sanctuary and stole pet food and toys.
Our supporters have been very generous and the stolen food has almost been replaced but it has left us feeling vulnerable and we would like to update our security. Not just to protect our equipment and supplies but more importantly to protect the animals in our care.
As we are a registered Charity (no. 1137681) we rely on the donations of kind public to continue our vital care of abandoned and neglected animals. We are hoping to install a burglar alarm and further CCTV cameras in the hope it will be a deter criminals and make it much harder to break into our premises.
Raising funds for a Charity can be difficult and hard work, this burglary has really affected the staff and volunteers of the charity. Money raised from fund raising should go towards vets fees and food for our dogs, cats, ponies, birds, rabbits and other small animals not extra security because of the act of a common criminal.
