Story
Cambodia is one of the most heavily mined countries on earth, with approximately 6 million landmines and other unexploded ordnance remaining in country. Cambodia has 40, 000 amputees which is one of the highest rates in the world. And no NHS! The number of landmines in one area can result in a deterioration of healthcare and education and farming may be impossible. The poorest people are most affected, with victims who earn about US$1 per day (£0.60!) having little access to good healthcare.
