Story
The “Santa Bakhita” community has approximately ten thousand inhabitants and is located in the north west of the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. There are a high number of single parent families that cannot provide a well-balanced diet for their children. There are also parents that have not completed their primary education that are not prepared to help their children with school work. The school readiness group helps children with after school work & the community restaurant prepares healthy meals

I am an artist from London. I graduated from The Cass University in 2012 with a masters in Fine Art (with Distinction). My work deals with the expansion of global cities & the issues around this. I am currently developing projects in Ecuador where I learned about this community.
