Story
I'm cycling my first ever century, 100 miles across Wales on Friday 23rd June with my dad and in the summer holidays Coast to Coast from the Lake District to Northumberland over the mountains unsupported and carrying our own equipment including tents.
I am participating in the Waddesdon CofE School expedition.
Kruger to Coast (Swaziland, South Africa & Mozambique) - Jul 2017
The trip involves expedition, project and cultural elements in these countries.
I'm really interested in the project phase where we help the communities in their conservation, construction and cultural work which benefits the children and future generations.
We also have expedition trips hiking in the mountains while doing all our own camp setup and food.
There is a marine biology section where we join the conservation project for the reefs off the coast and a visit to the Kruger National Game Park.

8 years agoThe final day started pretty hard, climbing 15% up on to the moor, luckily we ditched the luggage as we returned to the campsite after we finished. Nice drop into Newcastle on the old railway line, finally some downhill! 10 miles from there to Tynemouth where Ben had a dip in the North Sea!

8 years agoThe second day's video, this was a hard day with the 3.5 mile, 1300ft Cat 2 climb up to Hartside Cafe coming most of the way into the ride. This was the Tour of Britain Stage 3 finish in 2015!
