    Story

Daniel Flaherty, of the Bannockburn Boxing Club, competed in the 2015 Novice Boxing Championship 75kg final on 25 October 2015 and suffered a life threatening bleed on the brain only minutes after stepping out of the ring.

Daniel underwent two life saving brain surgery operations in the space of 2 days and was in a critical condition for a number of days afterwards.

Each day, Daniel is making small positive steps, albeit his recovery will be slow and the extent of this is still unknown.
