    Story

I want to help the 250 pupils of Glory English School get essential school supplies for their education after the Nepalese earthquake. The pupils live in and around Bhaktapur which was extensively damaged, especially by the second major quake. Many of the pupils lost their homes and with them all their belongings. They are surviving in tents and are living in desperate circumstances. Being able to go to school and have school materials to use will give them a purpose and focus.

      Update from the Page owner

Namaste! Thank you everyone for your generosity and amazing help in reaching our target for Glory School. You will help make a difference to the lives of these children who suffered such loss and trauma during the earthquake. Thanks to you they will have access to school materials. They will be able to get back into the routine of going to school, of having a purpose and a reassuring structure to their lives within the holistic and caring environment that is Glory School. Each small step in their education takes them closer to a better future. You have helped them take those steps by your generosity. Importantly, you have shown them that people care about them and that encouragement will give them the strength they need to get their lives back on track. Thank you, dhanyawad!

I have been in a children's writer and university lecturer for many years. I'm a strong believer in education in opening doors. For me education is key which is why I feel so strongly about supporting Glory School and its 250 pupils. I've seen so much improvement in just 4 years.
