Story
Lily who is now 4 years old was born prematurely and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy just before her 2nd birthday. Lily has now been seen by the consultant at GOSH and has been accepted for Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy. This operation perfomed at the top of the spinal cord hopes to help lily's spasticity. The operation is the1st stage and is not funded by the NHS. The cost is £27,000. Lily will then require extensive physiotherapy at a cost of £30,000 approx.

I am Lily's Great Aunt. Aside from that I worked in health clubs for 18 years, before studying Adult Nursing at Greenwich University. I was a member of the Air Training Corps for about 18 years, I was a uniformed member of staff during that time for around 12 of those years.
