    On 23 February 2016, four demolition workers lost their lives when the boiler house at the Didcot Power Station in the UK collapsed.

    DemolitionNews, in conjunction with the Institute of Demolition Engineers, is publishing a book to raise funds for the families of the men killed.

      On behalf of all the families of the men lost at Didcot and everyone here at DemolitionNews, I just wanted to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all that donated. The money from this and our other campaigns is now starting to trickle through to the people that matter.

      I have just returned to find that we have smashed our original target of £1,000 and we're 69% of the way to our revised £2,000 target. On behalf of the families of those effected by the Didcot Disaster and from all of us at DemolitionNews, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
