We were admitted to the Southampton Hospital as our poorly little one has caught pneumonia and influenza a. She is really not well, she's on a ventilator and in a sedated sleep.

We dropped everything and moved in to Ronald McDonalds house next to the hospital with our newborn little baby to be close by to our disabled toddler in the paediatric intensive care unit. We will be staying in the hospital for weeks rather than days, as all our daughter needs is time to recover.

My fiancé used to work fulltime, but dropped his career to help to support the family. Now he works from home fixing computers, which he is not able to carry on doing while we are here. I've only lived in UK for the past couple of years as I'm from Finland, where all of my family lives. I have been a fulltime carer since my daughter "Elsa" was born. She has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, profound hearing loss and cerebral vision impairment, she has global development delay and there are worries of her having epilepsy too. She will not ever walk. But when she's well she is our little sunshine, always giggling and loving life! She loves water and sensory play, bubbles, cars and especially buses and watching Futurama, in which her favourite character is Dr. Zoidberg,

Since her baby sister was born in December, we have had our hands full.

With not a lot of income we have been able to manage on a daily basis, but now in a time of crises and living away from home our expenses have got bigger, and after thinking about this for a really long time we decided to ask for a little help.
