As many of you have now heard, St Lawrence School was broken into over the weekend and the FOSLS/St Lawrence School fete takings were stolen.

As you know, our Summer Fete is a very important fundraising event for us and it takes months of planning and hard work by our FOSLS committee, parents, teachers, local businesses and most importantly the children.

All funds raised from this event were allocated towards the new climbing equipment that the children have been enjoying immensely.

We are understandably extremely shocked and saddened by today's news but have equally been overwhelmed by the many kind messages and generous offers of support from our amazing community. Thank you especially to The Lechlade Co-Op, Colleys Supper Rooms and The Crown who have selflessly offered to donate funds to the school, for which we are truly thankful.

We have also received suggestions from parents and residents within the local community regarding donations and in response to these, we have set up a Just Giving Page for those who wish to make a donation.

Thank you so much again and we take comfort in knowing that our town has amazing residents and businesses coming together to support one another.
