Story
David Cane was a meekie boy, a 45 yr old that lived in Meikle Earnock that sadly passed away several weeks ago, his body was found when police broke down his door. David had issues, he was often seen sitting in the Regent Shopping Centre or walking up and down Low Waters Road.
He used the various services the Salvation Army provided from there church on Burnblea Street in Hamilton.
Nobody has claimed David's body and it has lay at South Lanarkshire Crematorium for weeks, waiting for what can only be described as a 'poppers funeral'.
Judging by the comments on the Meikle Earnock Facebook page lots of you knew David, where friends with him at some point, spent time with him, although it may have been some time since you last seen or even spoke to David.
Let's try and give David a half decent send off, with every penny raised going to cover the cost of a funeral.
