This is an opportunity to help sustain the free childrens' workshops, which run for 4 days each year during the Green man festival, and which attract over 100 children each day, helping them to develop creative, practical, social skills, encouraging fun in an informal and welcoming educational setting.
The wonderful stories I receive following these workshops fill me with joy! Parents report their children taking up new hobbies, both artistic and academic, or finding confidence to learn a new hobby or join a new activity group. Some children return each year, eager to learn new skills and make even bigger and better creations.
The workshops are full of laughter, and each artwork is very proudly held aloft by each child for me to view, praise and applaud!
Your contributions will ensure that this wonderful tradition can continue. I always strive to buy local wool from local farmers, or UK based wool, thereby helping sustain local businesses. We use at least £200 worth of wool over 4 days!
