My dad is suffering from Motor Neurone Disease which is incurable. It leads to total disablement and requires constant care. This means in the near future my dad will not be able to use normal up stairs facilities and therefore will need them downstairs. It is essential because he would not be able to live at home safely and with dignity. The only way to achieve this is by converting the present garage but financially this is not achievable without support and no grant is available.
