    Story

41 houseboats moored at Thorpe Island in Norwich have been ordered to leave by The Broads Authority despite having nowhere else to go. The residents have been threatened with criminal prosecution if they do not comply. The moorings are the subject of enforcement action because of an ongoing legal dispute between The Broads Authority and the landowner who maintains he has planning permission. We urgently need funds to help cover the legal cost of defending the action of else face homelessness.
