    Story

Today our football club suffered at the hands of mindless individuals trying to break into our containers. what happen is they started a fire inside the container while taking a petrol disc cutter to the side in order to steal or grounds maintenance equipment. We have lost everything we have and we need to replace it all very quickly as the new season is fast approaching. We have approximately 170 young children starting from 4years old that are going to suffer if we cannot replace this equipment. we cant make out lines, cut the grass, roll the turf, use strimmer's around the respect barriers or even use our new BBQ for social events. You can check out the damage on this Echo website link http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/14662933.Firefighters_tackle_petrol_blaze_at_Hampshire_football_club/

I have started this page to try and raise as much money as possible to replace the equipment lost. As a voluntary organisation we don't have loads of spare funds so please if you can afford to support this cause I and everyone involved in my club will be extremely grateful that includes my parents who are the grounds team and both in their 70's. please don't let these individuals destroy our club and take away the opportunity for young people to take part in this great sport.

This is all that was left of our new ride on mower, apart from the machinery everything else was pretty much ashes. We have had some great support but we need more. I know times are hard for everyone but if you can spare what you can even just a couple of pounds it will help to keep our club afloat and able to continue maintaining our pitches so our young people can continue to play football in a secure and safe environment. To those of you that have donated thank you, your kind support is very much appreciated by everyone.
