Story
We are two performers, Lucy Enskat and Kimberley Moore, working as Clown Doctors for Suffolk Artlink's Clown Round project. Clown Round brings fun, laughter and distraction to children and young people in hospitals and hospices in Suffolk and Norfolk. We want to volunteer to do the same for the refugee children of Calais and are planning a trip there from 24th-26th June with an artist friend Alfie Carpenter.
The trip itself is self-funded but we are raising money to also bring much needed supplies from the proirity donations list.
Please support us or help us spread the word. Thank you.

8 years agoA huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to this page and gave donations independently of it. At the time of buying the supplies to take as donations this page was at £340. Since then we managed to raise an extra £100 which now the funds have been released from Just Giving we have been able to donate to the amazing 'Unoficial Women's and Children's Centre' that the Clown Doctors visited. 8 years agoPlus we have these brilliant colouring, story books written and donated by the wonderful Fillie Fidget, Clown Doctor so I purchased some crayons to go with them. Thank you Filomena and thanks again to all who have supported this trip. xxx

8 years agoA huge thank you to everyone who has given money - you are all incredibly kind, generous and lovely. With your money I was able to buy 35 T-shits, 17 pairs of trousers/joggers, 44 wind-up torches and 6 wind-up lanterns. All packed and ready to be delivered directly to the camp at Calais tomorrow. We leave for France tonight. Any further donations to this page from this point will be passed on to Care4Calais in cash to buy gas. Thank you so much for making this happen. We will keep you posted on how we get on. Love and light. xxx
