Story

Inkwell is a fantastic place - a safe, creative and accessible venue in Leeds challenging the stigma of mental health. We are Seven Jazz, a voluntary jazz promoter in Leeds - we use Inkwell to put on jazz and blues concerts with artists such as Laura Jurd, Zoe Gilby, Steve Philips, Big Boy Bloater and Rommi Smith. We also run "Inkwell Divas", jam sessions and our jazz choir. We'd like to buy a Yamaha U3 piano for Inkwell. Will you sponsor one (or more!) of the piano's 88 keys? £5 per key...

Thanks everyone! Piano now at Inkwell - we used it for our first gig today with Joe Boyes the pianist. Sounded lovely! Do come along next Sunday 15th May for "Slide Area" 1.30pm to hear it again - we should also know the result of the Parliamentary Jazz Award by then!

Just a couple of days to go - many thanks to people who have contributed, we're well past the £1000 mark now so not far to go now! Still time to support us to but the piano for Inkwell!

A really big thanks to everyone who has donated so far - it's been fantastic. So far including donations at our concerts we think we are well over half way ! We'll be having a piano party when we finally get the piano in place - watch this space! Steve
