Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant at St Michael Catholic Primary School and am passionate about ensuring that all areas of learning within the school are a positive for our pupils.

I am running a half marathon in Hackney on the 8th May and wanted to raise £1000 for the school's new Opal Play Project. I feel that the initiative will provide our pupils the opportunity to improve their self confidence, ability to build friendships, further their communication skills and develop relationships across year groups and peer groups.

From my personal experience, I believe play is a hugely influential time for children and their development of the 'unteachable' skills of cooperation, resilience, imagination, creativity and perseverance. With your support, Saint Michael's can enrich our pupil's lives through the provision of a wider range of play opportunities.

I do understand that you are frequently asked for sponsorship by various charities and organisations, but I would be very grateful for your support for myself and the development of St Michael's Primary School. I, in return, will give 100 percent commitment to this and will cross that finish line with a smile upon my face!
