Story
This can't continue. I read today that children's feet are rotting in the cold and wet. I am going to Lesvos in November and hope to donate much needed funds to voluntary groups on the ground there to buy essentials for refugee children and their families. I am also helping in organizing shipments of emergency supplies to Lesvos to include warm clothing, blankets and footwear as this crisis will only get worse as the winter approaches.

Thank you everyone for donating to my appeal. Whilst in Lesvos I bought a tent with the Euros donated to me, but the rest of your donations will be going to Pikpa, a voluntary organisation run by Greek volunteers and supporting the most vulnerable refugee families, those who have for example, been traumatized by a family member drowning during the crossing, those with children with complex physical health needs or those suffering from the effects of torture. It is an amazing place full of hope and smiles offering what so far the NGO's have been unable to manage. This money will really make a difference and help Pikpa prepare for the cold, wet months ahead. Thank you once again. Jane v
